Introduction to your Key Holder Portal

Follow these few steps and tips and you’ll be a pro within minutes

What’s a Key Holder Portal?

We use Monday.com to document all of the activity on your account, to list our successes and to chat to each other.

Everyone at Unlockd PR will be on your portal - so you’ll have your very own PR Team behind you.

Your portal is custom made for you and is created by the team once we receive your Onboarding Form.

Once it’s ready, you’ll receive an email from Monday.com to join your board.

You’ll be asked to create some log-in details and then you’re ready to go.

The rest we’ll discuss on your onboarding call.

It’s easy we promise …

Your Key Holder Portal (Monday.com refers to them as Boards) is only accessible by you, any colleagues you wish to add, and our team here at Unlockd PR.

Your portal is divided into Groups (such as “Getting Started” & “My Brand”).

Within these groups are items.

And if you click on the speech bubble on the items, those are updates - which is how we chat to each other and update you.

In those update boxes, you can message us and upload files.

When we message you, you’ll get an email notification.

Clicking on the link in the email or phone notification will take you to it and you can reply directly to the message (by clicking “reply”).

Each item has a status - telling you at a glance where we are with it, the activity type, if applicable (such as “Press Release”) and the deadline, if applicable. These are updated by the team here and you can’t edit them.

Each item also has other columns that might be useful, such as “Date” and “Deadline (my time zone).

The items that need your attention have purple statuses.

Your board also has various views to help you see things at a glance:

  • Published

  • Waiting on me (a collection of items we need your help with).

  • Ongoing work.

  • Press Releases.

  • Waiting to be published.

  • What we're promoting (a list of your experts, products, services, stories, news and events).

Finally, there’s search and filter functions to help you navigate the portal.

The portal is tailored to your brand, so over time we’ll add your various experts, products, services, PR events, announcements and real-life stories - alongside our activities (such as press releases).

Things to bear in mind:

Every time we update the portal or send you a message, you’ll get an email notification. If you click on the link in that email, it will take you straight to that update/message. When replying, start each reply with @UnlockdPR so we get notified.

To message us generally, click on the speech mark next to the item “Any general questions? Message us here …” under the “Chatting with us…” group. Click in the box and start by typing @UnlockdPR so we get notified of your message.

To message us about a specific item (such as a press release), click on the speech mark next to the relevant item “Message us”. Click in the box and start by typing @UnlockdPRKeyHolderTeam so we get notified of your message.

Please don’t tag @Allguestsontheboard as that notifies you (and any colleagues of yours on the portal) and not our team.

You can book in a chat with us via the portal whenever you like. The link can be found in the item called “Want to book in a 30-minute catch-up call?” under the group “Chatting with us…”.

To cancel your subscription, you’ll need to fill in a form found in the item called “Cancel the subscription here” under the group “Chatting & key information” (it’s here too).

Please don’t email us once your portal is up and running - the portal makes sure every thing is in one place and that we can respond to you quickly.
